Ration-book days

Last modified:

Ration-book (or in Swedish motbok) was in Sweden a booklet with space for stamps, where the purchase of alcoholic beverages  was noted in order not to exceed the stipulated rations. It was part of the Bratt system, a major effort to reduce alcohol consumption.
It was used in Sweden from 1917 (in some areas from 1914) until 1955.
