Tjorven – a fictional character of Astrid Lindgren’s films and tv-series about life on the island of Saltkråkan (‘Life on Seacrow Island’) in the northern part of the archipelago of Stockholm (shot on Norröra which can be reached by Waxholmsbolaget boats from Stockholm and Furusund). Tjorven is a podgy young lady with quite a bit of self-confidence.
