On his way home to Katarina Bangata, Bublanski felt an urge to talk with God about the case, but instead of going to the synagogue he went to the Catholic church on Folkungagatan.

The church building was erected in 1892, and was expanded in 1983.
The catholic Cathedral Parish in Stockholm has about 8500 members.  Services are held every week in five languages ​​and regularly  three more.
